Pupil Accounting

Pupil Accounting works with our constituent districts to ensure that appropriate processes and procedures are in place to justify the pupil data used in generating State Aid. We conduct formal audits of the October and February pupil membership counts. We also provide training to staff and consultation services in matters of pupil accounting rules, laws and interpretations.

Truancy & Attendance

Poor school attendance is cause for concern. Chronic absenteeism can be signs of trouble at home and is a predictor of juvenile delinquency. The Attendance Officer can provide information and assistance to schools and families in Ingham County.
