STEAM Geekend Camps
STEAM Geekend 2019 will focus on providing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM) education that incorporates hands-on, project-based learning for students in grades 4-6 incorporating the Next Generation Science Standards. Students will make connections to the types of high-wage, high-demand jobs available in the STEAM pathway for career exploration.
Sessions will be held in the areas of forensics, bioscience, culinary and law enforcement just to name a few. Attendees will be randomly placed in four, 75-minute sessions that offer opportunity for exploration in STEAM areas.
Registration fee includes snacks, a boxed lunch, all supplies and a gift to take home. Boxed lunches include a turkey or ham sandwich, chips, apple and bottled water. If your child has special dietary needs, he/she is welcome to bring a lunch. Refrigeration is available.
STEAM Geekend 2019 will be held on Ingham ISD's campus in the Wilson Talent Center, 611 Hagadorn Road, Mason, 48854.
